Mental Health Champion

This course will teach you to understand what mental health is, how to challenge stigma and common mental health issues.

Description

This one day course trains you as an MHFA Champion, and gives you a good understanding and awareness of mental health in the workplace.

You will have an introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing. You will gain confidence to support others who may be experiencing mental health issues.

Ability to spot signs of mental ill health

Format & style

Trainer led discussions and exercises which explore several mental health areas and positives actions everyone can take to increase wellbeing.

Assessment & certification

Continuous observation by the trainer.
Each delegate will get a Sinewave Academy / Mental Health England certificate.
