This practical workshop supports all new coaches to learn the basic skills and the GROW approach to coaching. It also provides a hands on refresher for those managers already have the skills

  • The fundamentals of coaching 
  • How coaching can support your team's development.

The objectives for the event

  • Explain how and why coaching is integral to being a great people leader
  • State the essential characteristics and skills needed to be an effective coach
  • Describe the spectrum of coaching styles – tell to sell and be able to recognise which style to use.
  • Explain how different models work and provide examples of how they can be used to support coaching. 
  • Demonstrate capability to hold an effective coaching session using the GROW model.
