Who should attend?
New supervisors/managers who want to build their communication skills and positively impact their team, colleagues and customers.
The objectives of this workshop are:
- Able to explain the core elements of effective communication.
- Explain how to positively influence others.
- State what is means to be assertive.
- Able to define emotional intelligence in the context of engaging and inspiring your team.
The course covers:
- Communication cycle
- Being a listening leader
- Being Curious
- The power of positive language
- Being assertive
As well as an introduction to emotional intelligence.
Format and style
This course includes discussions, exercises and the opportunity to work with in smaller groups to explore the topics and share experiences.
Assessment & Certification
- There is no formal assessment.
- Each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance.
